Rustic Comfort

Turkey Creek is tastefully decor-ated in a comfortable, rustic style with historic photos and authentic antiques while providing more comforts than you'd expect in a vacation home. The open floor-plan is great for entertaining a large family, yet cozy enough for a romantic get-away for two.Turkey Creek accommodates up to ten - two queen beds, bunk bed, two queen sleeper sofas, and three full baths. The kitchen has new appliances, spices, cast iron cookware, condiments and all you'll need to prepare any-sized meal.There's something for everyone - Satellite TV, VHS/DVD players and movies, mini billiards table, ping pong, poker, games, toys, Playstation, books, ipod docks, music CDs and Buck the Singing Deer on the wall.For the little ones we provide home safety devices, dishware, safety gates, strollers, a playpen, a portable highchair and a baby rocker.When its time to relax, there is a large hot tub, thick bath robes and a cozy wood burning fire-place for you to enjoy.

Enjoy the Outdoors

Our log cabin was built with enjoying nature in mind. We sit on 5-acres surrounded by hundreds of acres of natural woodlands. The landscaping and native flora provide colorful blooming trees and shrubs, flowering bulbs and wildflowers all year long, as well as birds and wildlife. Its serene and peaceful with the most incredible views of the valley below - especially at sunrise! Turkey Creek celebrates the outdoors! Grill out and dine on the large picnic table, enjoy the view from the rocking chairs, read a book in the porch swing. Take a picnic lunch and explore the trails. At night tell ghost stories and make s'mores in the fire pit or gaze at the millions of stars with the telescope.And if you choose to venture out to the lake, we have all you'll need - beach chairs, umbrella, beach bags, sunscreen, beach toys, goggles, kids snorkeling gear and water wings. We also keep winter gloves, scarves and raingear for unexpected weather changes!
